We had an earthquake this morning at 4:30.I personally didn't know anything was going on because I was still sleeping but I know several people that did know it was happening.
Our daughter's boyfriend,in Southern Illinois was in his dorm room and there were several kids that evacuated the building. I know it was worse down south because that is where it started. I was told that in Chicago there were trimmers felt.
There is a major fault line in Illinois,not sure exactly where but if there ever was a major earthquake I am sure we would know it.
We are all fine here. Nothing damaged and haven't heard on the news of any major damage anywhere so far. I am glad it was nothing major. The only time I have ever felt any trimmers was when i was in high school and it shook a few things in the house. That alone was scary enough.

I didn't feel anything either! I was up using the bathroom but I must have been way sleepy!! They said it was felt as far as Iowa!!

I'm glad you're all safe. I'm scared of earthquakes. I always pray for it to stop whenever I feel the start of a tremor.
