Where are you spring?????

This weekend was a crazy one. We had very nice weather considering it has been a very cold and snowy one this year. We went out to dinner Saturday with our two youngest girls and their dates to Olive Garden. Love their soup and salad and breadsticks. Yum!!!! Then our youngest went to her high school dance-TWIRP. She had a lot of fun. Sunday was a different day. I woke up sick and stayed home all day. Everyone else went to church and then we pretty much didn't do much all day. Lazy day I guess. This week we are getting the kitchen completely torn out and ready for the cabinets-don't worry mom it will be ready by the time you get here.
Today we found out we are to get 6-9 inches of snow. I really am not looking forward to more snow. I am sooooooooooooooo ready for spring to come. Was not happy when i saw the weather report this morning.

We are still alive here. Just haven't been able to get on the computer much lately. Yesterday the kids were home from school because of the holiday and it was a busy day. It is not going to slow down much either. This weekend we are going to start tearing down our kitchen to prepare for the new cabinets and it is also TWIRP weekend at the high school. That means the woman is required to pay-at the dance. The only one going is our youngest daughter i think,so not so bad.

We got this 19" flat screen tv FREE at my hubby's Christmas party this last year. I was sooooo excited. We have really enjoyed this tv.

This is how we feel lately. We are suppose to get 3-6 more inches of snow today. I think everyone is ready for Spring around here. Can't wait for warm weather. The high today is -3 i think.

This was not an easy one this week. I was going through all my pictures and trying to find one to fit. Came across this one of when my hubby and I went to Disney and I am sure this pumpkin has to be pretty heavy.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We still have that virus going around our house. One more down for a few days. Please pray it leaves everyone else alone!!!! We did find out that if you put Vicks vapor rub on your feet,yes i said feet, and cover it with socks you will not cough for several hours. It really works!! We tried it on Saturday and within 10 minutes there was no coughing here. Amazing.
Well, Just wanted to check in with everyone. Have to get the day going. Gotta go shovel us out again. Got about 21/2 inches last night again and are suppose to get more tomorrow. Spring come soon :)

Well, we got about 7 inches of snow at least last night and is still snowing today. The kids don't have school so I won't have to worry about them being out today. Hubby of course went to work but wish he would've stayed home. He went in with a friend in a truck and as they were leaving they were trying to do donuts in the road. Just big kids.
Not going to be on much today,with no school that makes my job even busier with more kids home. The good thing though, is that my girls help with the younger kids,which is nice. May let the bigger kids go outside to play in the snow. I think it is a good snowman snow.
