Stay off the sidewalks: )

Our middle daughter is getting her permit today!!!!! Am a little nervous letting her drive. Don't know why, I wasn't that nervous with our first daughter. She of course wants to drive somewhere today, but will have to wait until dad is home. We need to take her out to the country and teach her a few things about driving first. She hasn't driven with the instructor yet,and starting next year they are enforcing some stricter rules for new drivers in our state. My youngest isn't to thrilled about it but I think they are good changes. They have to have their permit for 9 months instead of 3, they have more driving hours to complete b4 they get their license, more hours behind the wheel with the instructor. There are a few more but can't remember them all right now. The new rules start in Jan.

The more rules the better because driving is not a "FUN THING" like we all thought it was at that age but a very very high responsibility!! We know that now but then it was just the fun of it all!! I am sure that with the accident that Emily experienced this past summer that she will be thinking about that often!! I hope at least that she does. You are not entering into more gray hairs I am afraid!! So glad you are red headed!! Love MOM
